From Street to Safety — One Life Changed
Earlier this year, we met a small dog all alone on the side of a busy road in Bali.
He was skin-and-bones.
Covered in fleas.
Terrified of people.
Hairless and injured.
Most people walked past.
We couldn’t.
Our local team brought him in for immediate examination. He was severely malnourished, anemic, and suffering from untreated infections.
The first days were touch-and-go — IV fluids, antibiotics, warmth, and quiet rest.
But little by little… something shifted.
He started eating.
His eyes softened.
His tail wagged for the first time.
Over the next weeks, he gained strength, confidence, and trust.
His coat grew back glossy.
He began playing with other dogs.
He started greeting our volunteers instead of hiding from them.
He went from a street dog with no future…
to
a safe dog with a second chance.
